Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

Catalog products are returnable within 14 days after the purchase. Return policy does not apply to customised products and only applies to private individuals, not businesses. 
In case of a withdrawal the product must be shipped to our Swedish office undamaged and unused on the expenses of the customer. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in unchanged condition that you received it. It must also be in the undamaged original packaging together with the packaging it came in. The item must not have been used. It is therefore important that you open your package carefully so that the packaging or the product is not damaged. In cases where the product is sealed, it must be unbroken and the product must not have been assembled. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact our Service Team before returning an item.

The item is in the customer’s possession until we receive the return, therefore it is important that the item is not damaged during shipping. Therefore, pack your package carefully. The customer is responsible for any damage during transport when the item is sent back to us. We recommend sending trackable packages for your own safety. Note that the return must be sent directly to our warehouse, not to a postal agent. Contact your nearest postal agent for further details.

Please note that majority of our products are not catalog products, the picture and description provided are only inspirational, therefore Refund and Returns Policy does not apply to them.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected] and send your item to our Swedish office.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to our Swedish office.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Warranty

2 years warranty applies on the electricity and damaged caused by the transportation. 
Does not apply on glass parts, light bulbs and damage caused after the installation.

LUCIDE studio also does not take responsibility for installation (when not conducted by our staff) and the damage caused by wrong installation or wrong ceiling endurance test and weight miscalculations.
